MUSIC AND READING THAT IMPRINTED THE VITALITY OF A YOUNG MAN.

Operational Theory Of Spiritual Influence of Reading and Music in Significant Era of Imprint.

For what it's worth - if you will - music and reading coincided during an impressionable young manhood which was dynamic and creative to certain members of a generation.  My influences were selective in relevance to my belief system, often defiant of the usual pop culture.  Traffic (with Steve Winwood) was preferred to The Beattles.  Buffalo Springfeild preferred to Peter, Paul, and Mary.

John C. Lilly, Timothy Leary, and Buckminster Fuller influenced the language and culture of tripping.  Lilly coined the phrase "Far Out Spaces"  and then we started saying "Far Out!"  instead of "Groovy."

I leave you with a quote from Lilly.

“In the province of the mind, what one
believes to be true is true or becomes
true, within certain limits to be found
experientially and experimentally. These
limits are further beliefs to be transcended.
In the mind there are no limits.”  John C. Lilly

And a lyric from Traffic.

"Somebody's crying to be heard
And there's also someone who hears every word"

Hard to find music from their second and best album but here is one that is fun but not as 'heavy' as my preferred Hammond tunes.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDcmo-5Qht4

Since my career was music with the Hammond B-3, I can get into today's music if it features that instrument in at least a supporting role.

Found a couple of the heavy Hammond tunes :Steve Winwood from the days of my youth on the Hammond B-3.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=susabLCCRRo

A few years earlier with Spencer Davis Group.
