My computer collapse forced me to remember why life was worth living at a different time. We know that TV and public radio are owned by forces detrimental to life-condition so there is nothing there that should occupy our time. Yes, there are hard copy physical books which force us to awaken thought to a level that we previously took for granted. This synthetic thought is important because it can verify experiential perceptions. The actual perception of fields of Being is still available with enough attention and a belief that it can be done.
