SUCCESS THROUGH A COSMIC ATTITUDE. PAUL WAGGENER AND NAPOLEON HILL


Paul Waggener might be skeptical that I share interest in his world.  His world is the spirit of a fighter, martial arts, motorcycles, runes, and Arthurian Legend.  I share an interest in both runes and Arthurian legend. I tend toward works on New Thought. I'm not so tough, but I'm in pretty good shape for 73.  Waggener is winner with big achievements who is a living example of positive thinking.  Action. Positive thinking in action.

It might seem contradictory to list profound similarities of a business man and teaching author who lived from 1883 to 1970 and a martial artist, biker, builder of the ancient Mannerbund for the 21st Century.   Both men followed a definiteness of purpose to create a better world and each wrote extensively and well about it.   

1883 –  1970 Was the lifespan of Napoleon Hill.

1902 –  2002 Was the lifespan of his coauthor W. Clement Stone.

We need to know our main purpose and to fight for what we believe in.  All the men listed here would agree with me that there is a presence of Divine energy and consciousness that is perceptible as attunement selection.  Energy Consciousness overrides the transmitted demands of an ubiquitous (and outdated) organizational agenda structure.  

Ju-Jitsu  and tattoos don't interest me and I don't own a motorcycle.  So why do I follow and enjoy reading Paul Waggener?  Intelligence and his fire to create while achieving independent businesses are  reasons enough.  Add to this his great and ACCURATELY AUTHENTIC knowledge of both Germanic runes and Britano-Celtic Arthurian legend and we have a full plate.  

What is it about mysticism applied to achievement that offends the community standards of the farcebook clerics? Chivalry and honor are among Waggener's latest projects and I can't see why that would separate him more from the social media standards.  Unless........

Quite an accomplishment also being expelled from Twitter and Instagram.    
 

Paul Waggener is the epitome of positive thinking and the esoteric cosmic warrior spirit.  Pretty good credentials.  He built a warrior society, or mannerbund, from ideas of how to recover our best ways.  Success.  Waggener is a phenomenal success in the internet business while promoting the ideas and lifestyle that he loves.  You can see the passion in his work.  Every time I think he has created a success that would be a resting point, Waggener is creating a new project based upon his profound and experiential knowledge.  

It might not seem 21st Century hip to mention "Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude" in the context of the young and powerful today.  Copyright 1960 and 1977.  Bear with me.  This book by Napoleon Hill and W. Clement Stone hits upon esoteric lore that got past me in the first readings as a young man.  Chapter 4 "Will You Dare You To Explore The Powers Of Your Mind?" mentions works I did not discover until later.  Of course J.B. Rhine was on my radar early.  There is still more to appreciate why Hill and Stone recommend him as long as you stay close to your purpose and ignore the propaganda of Wikipedia.  In fact Waggener has been eliminated from Wikipedia after attacks by a couple of Feminists.  See the second N.H. quote above.  

So J.B. Rhine we know about.  There is another mention that would only be recognized by authors and seekers familiar with ages of true work.  This is Thomson Jay Hudson who wrote "The Law of Psychic Phenomena" in 1893 and it is being rediscovered by researchers in the recent few years.  Now considered an interesting source by Consciousness researchers who I respect.  Hill and Stone have considerable good advice to substantiate their powers of mind approach.   

The following chapter "... And Something More."  recommends that you write down your ideas that arrive through Infinite Mind.

It will still appear there because the implications and benefits of advanced human ability are an important aspect of this work.  However, statistics and protocols are secondary to just plain living well. How we live in a way that is practical transcends any 'science' as a limited field.  Living well is the best paranormal.]   Here is a version of that essay.   Thomas Carlyle's advocacy of the heroic in our culture is no longer mentioned in our schools.  In fact few teachers, much less students, know who Carlyle was.   Thomas Carlyle (1795 - 1881) was a contemporary and friend of the American transcendentalist, Ralph Waldo Emerson.  I believe that to a student in the mid-1960s Carlyle was still known in literature until his banishment at some later time.  His heroic standards for the West seems to have been too much for our emerging Liberalism.  But this is not a grievance study.  I'll leave that to others.
