The work is inspired by decades in the field long before I found the psychological professionals associated with “Family Constellations.” My work is an organic and ‘cosmic’ narrative which sees  people’s  lineage and legacy as a feature and a blessing rather than a pathology.

My work on integrating family history, the theoretical importance for general principles, and how to relate your own chronicles into a larger meaning earned me the reputation as providing a service.  But that field of endeavor has never been a profession because I do not have the interest or expertise in matters like Ancestry . com or the complex nature of genetic study. There are resources for that but that is not what we mean here.  This is about your saga of the spirit.  

I have recently found a great book and professional therapy source in the works of Jamy and Peter Faust.  Their book is called  “The Constellation Approach : Finding Peace Through Your Family Lineage”   

Highly recommended work but I’ve published in that area for twenty years.  The very nature of a constellation means that there are kindred spirits who are connected to what we are all about.

In fact there are multiple approaches available including Shoshone Tribal tradition, Hawaiian  Huna (which the Fausts cite) and any frame of reference that involves your heritage.  Mine is evident in my work with both Germanic and generic publications.  You must find yours.  


Finding value in recent and ancient family history is what I do.
I want this to work for you because it means more people on my team working with and sharing Infinite Mind.  

Would mean less people controlled by a heartless managerial machine.  Less powers demanding compliance to a crazy civilization.

My work and experience with a profound respect for the lineage that brought me here (as found in my blogs and books)  will be in the Epilogue which will contain details, history, precepts, and experiences.

THE FAMILY CONSTELLATION CONCEPT
 
But  first - this is about you and yours.  You live in a continuum that might be incomprehensible to me, and the power is all yours.  Make sure you integrate and use the best of it.  Addressing inherited trauma is okay and necessary up to a point of crossing a therapeutic threshold and experiencing the problem.  Then get over it and embrace the majesty of your being here with full appreciation of the Cosmic intent.  You are a survivor.  Survive to thrive and win.  Look for the best in your constellation. In a contemplative and appreciative "I Am" and "We Are" frame of mind, ruminate on those who have gone before you.  It might be necessary to begin with those of your most recent memory and most recent presence.  Appreciate.  Then go a little further back to the stories and legends you have been told about those who pioneered your family constellation long ago.  Use the best and most inspiring stories.  Also, with the passing of time, some of the more scandalous or rascal stories have a certain gumption to them and modernist value judgments will have less importance than the ferocity to live and win as an energetic presence.  

Keep it positive and think of someone you admire and wish to emulate.  Think of your successes in following in their footsteps.  Then think of where you fell short.  Acknowledge that and use it as a resolve to improve.  Don't be too hard on yourself.  Life is action and you know the actions that will result in a winning resolution.   

Constellations are also used in the field of company and social groups outside the family.  The study of constellations is related to Complexity Theory yet the emergence of a Quantum non-linear and non-local quality that makes observation and decision an active creator of what you determine and create from here.   


Sagas told of your ancestors have a folkloric quality of an abiding truth.  Precise dates and the documents of ancestry sites are important but the ‘vibe’ and quality of energy and frame of mind  that are attached to these stories are the most useful in connecting with the energy.  Your ancestor may have been a scoundrel in some respects, but do the stories indicate a gumption to survive and succeed that is useful today?  I am willing to bet there are even more stories about how an ancestor was highly valued for military prowess or business acumen.  Perhaps they started a business and succeeded against all odds.  Perhaps they overcame incredible ‘handicaps’ and lived an inspiring life.  

Scallywag or hero doesn’t really matter as long as the life force for success and survival is there.  Of course it would be better if your ancestor was an advisor to kings rather than a horse thief, so look for the most inspirational models first.  It is especially valuable to you now if the ancestor was powerful in an arena where you are making your own efforts.  

This is more than mere imagination, as the exercises in the Family Constellation program proves.  Room must be made for the presence of the person to appear.  It seems like a deja vu moment to say I've written about this before. We all have these moments, especially at play.

One purpose of your shared stories of your idealized ancestor is to provide the presence of a living myth.  The physical presence might not be there, but the essential nature of the entity is there to interact with.  The interaction has fewer limitations than the timeline of physical interaction.  It is just as real.   

The therapeutic ‘alchemical divination’ method I’ve only found in recent days grants the same transactional presence and reciprocity of communication that exists in modern mystery techniques as used by those who are familiar with non-locality in space and time.  

Anecdotal examples will be in the ‘Epilogue’ section of this essay.  The question is - do you have a realization and confidence in the presence of continuity in a significant person?  A note here that this person can still be living in the physical world but influential enough to sustain a presence in your life.  

To engage in contact with this significant person you can be perfectly natural as long as you maintain respect and can return to your normal activities on demand.  No need to inscribe complex pentagrams etc. around you unless it helps  your process.  The world is either a safe place or it isn’t.  Belief about this makes it so.  Choose safety, abundance, and good will.   

In the space/time created for the mental construct of your significant person or persons,  you will have your own way of creating this process.  I’m trusting you to that here but if you need examples they can be found in my “Cosmic Spirit Tech” or “Ancient Ways To New Thought” books.  The methods will also be looked at in the Epilogue which includes the Family Constellation Alchemy techniques.    

Overcomplicating things is something I understand.  Creations of wards of protection, sigils, and hootin’ and hollerin’ are an arena I’ve found interesting.  But the main contact can occur in the most normal circumstances.  We don’t cross our eyes and go into trance when communicating with someone on an advantageous and respectful level.     

FAMILY CONSTELLATION PRACTICE
Research in related fields led me to "Family Constellation" as an emergent psychological discipline and therapy.  At first I was skeptical because I (wrongly) attributed it to Critical Theory where the sovereign tribal culture is replaced by a managerial machine of control by structured world organizations.  The trauma and subversion of today's world is real but Family Constellation attention is the antidote, not the cause.  
In fact, the pioneers of thought in this field relate to Franz Brentano and Martin Heidegger.  Any kindred culture with awareness can call upon the ancestors as "positive, constructive, and creative presences."   
When studying the credentials of Jamy and Peter Faust I see that the Metzner Alchemical Divination of Ralph Metzner is featured.  I knew  something of Metzner with his consciousness work with Timothy Leary in the golden age of psychedelics.  Some hearty and resilient leaders of the era survived and thrived.  Metzner was certainly one of them.  I thoroughly enjoyed “The Well of Remembrance : Rediscovering the Earth Wisdom Myths of Northern Europe” by Ralph Metzner.  

I was on a disciplined budget so I just now got the "Constellation" book but I  have done enough work in that area on my own.  There is a presence that is not pathological (as proposed by Modernism) but a vital and healthy influence.  As we know, historical traumas must also be addressed. Whatever has occurred exists as a presence.    

Family Constellation therapy is considered as related to 'quantum mysticism' and that's okay with me.  You are the expert in why you are here and the resonance of an influential extended purpose of your own lineage.

THE EPILOGUE FOR TALES AND RESOURCES
The orbit of family homes on the circumference of a homestead farm was my first environment.  It was a large, wild, and dynamic world with actions of love and ambition.  Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins were only a short walk or quick drive away.  These people were gods and playmates.  Respect and awe were a natural response to them when they entered my physical, imaginative and intuitive world.

Stories of far away places and more difficult times were learned as an oral tradition that always honored the courage of their forebears and gave gratitude for the thriving conditions in the little family 'village' in Montana.  

There were also incomprehensibly dangerous times in places further away in a time of conflict.  My parents sponsored my 'uncle' Kris to be rescued from war-torn Europe where his Latvian parents had been herded into a cattle car to die in a Gulag.  They had value as competent farmers so they were not immediately taken to the killing pits and shot. Kris had been advised by the village elders to surrender to the Germans rather than the Russians when they were surrounded by a pincer invasion.  The Russians shot the young men and the Germans conscripted them into military operations.  My uncle was too young for the military so they put him to work digging graves for the devastation in the Baltic.  

My work with  ‘the knowing field’ began long before I learned of the formal "Family Constellation" therapy as carried forward by the Fausts.  My uncle's great wisdom and appreciation for life in the thriving world outside the concentration camp was a formative inspiration for me.  The horror was incomprensible for a young boy but I found one of those 'gods' of adulthood in his energetic craftsmanship, strong accent, and his fascination and love for the extended family I knew.

Considerable motive power for my writing of family history, for which I'm known, concerns how this energy field can be accessed in both the Primordial unity we all have on the planet and specific family and regional cohesions of a psychic DNA.  My reach was intended to be for the cousins and their progeny who were scattered by economics across the nation rather than the mountain farm valley where we had all been together.  If the kindred were no longer on the farm (indeed there is no longer a farm or lakeside gathering place), they could still remember and learn our sagas and the ethics and spirit that would by Cosmic function live on within them.  

My reach went back further than they might like as devout Seventh Day Adventists of other Christian believers.  But they can find the principles within their own faith.  It's just that at the lakeside gathering place alone one summer the Germanic runes spoke to me of a timeless dimension that would include all time.  We would be together forever in a very real historical and future sense.  I told my stories and extended the metaphysics in what was at first a dogmatic way - - you must return to the ancient ways of the ancestors.  Later, with wisdom that can't help but arrive by ancestral spiritual work, I tell the stories in the context of valuing wherever they are now with appreciation rather than judgment.  The Energy is generic but it does form a constellation around family lines.

Bert Hellinger is considered the father of the movement although he drew on other sources.  The morphic field resonance of Rubert Sheldrake was adopted.  These resonances of constellations are called 'invisible loyalties' by the psychiatrist Iván Böször.  Others call this presence 'the knowing field.'   

Look at the resources and theoretical study of the above luminaries and consider their professional application.  I think the actual work, in some cases, can include a kind of psycho-drama therapy.  Silence and perception in the right circumstances and respect is part of the process rather than 'talk therapy.'  Contacting these constellations is said to be much more effective and rapid than other individual therapies.  Journalling and making personal notes can engage the process as described by some of the methods in the links.  

At my age and with years of writing the metaphysics of family history, I'm not about to begin formal education or credentialing in the field.  But I will offer what came naturally when I began to respect my ancestors compared to the generic agendas that were posited against them by an anti-cultural and subversive agenda.  Here goes the simplification of my books that will work very well for you :

ZEITGEIST CONSTELLATION

The experience and established lore of the times will register as a 'knowing field' in the awareness of a generation or a subset of a generation.  When I learned that Ralph Metzner's 'Alchemical Divination' was influential in Jamy Faust's direction of the professional psychotherapeutic trajectory, I already had considerable familiarity with Metzner and his dynamic paradigm.   

My own experience with studying and enjoying his literature was informed by my appreciation for the 'meta-programming' era of John Lilly and Timothy Leary - and to a degree the ubiquitous Richard Albert - aka Ram Dass.  I knew only that Metzner was a partner in research with them,  It wasn't until I found that he had done some cool work on runic and Germanic folk history and philosophy that I read, "The Well of Remembrance."  Good work that addresses some heretical areas of possible contact with South American proto-psychedelic history.  Speculation that would have labeled me a Mayan Harmonic Convergence crackpot but Metzner had credentials.


Today's generation will have its own Zeitgeist of innate familiarity with the digital world and its founding with observations and manifestos of lore that inform their consciousness. The era of my youth contained a psychic resonance with the trajectory with an ESP, if not informed by the extant literature, that gave us phrases like "Far Out!" which had its genesis in Lilly's work on "far out spaces."   

My not having access to "Alchemical Divination" was overcome by a fortunate find in getting “Searching for the Philosopher's Stone” by Metzner.  A great book that addresses the foibles of  academic political correctness which had considerable snarkiness from me.  I will include that here to register legitimate objections suffice it to say these are new times but as far as Alchemical Divination goes the following paragraph has a personal guideline:

"I would estimate that the most productive times to learn new divination techniques (or any esoteric curriculum) are from the ages of 25 to 55.  Some leniency for special cases and life-purpose but I've established my own loyalty in spirit to Northern Europe of Scandinavia, Germany, Albion, and the Baltic."

The 2019 "Searching for the Philosopher's Stone" by Metzner addresses the following issues but here is my snarky analysis of a time and place with a Zeitgeist to be overcome :

This was an era of wide-eyed youth but I don't care about that anymore.  "The Well of Remembrance" has some good runic material and authentic literature of the Poetic Edda.  Of course this is heavily weighted toward the New Age Goddess aspect which I will discuss in terms of my own subversion below.  

I do have "The Well of Remembrance : Rediscovering the Earth Wisdom Myths of Northern Europe" to read again and it has been instructive in my remembrance.  My own foibles of the era of  1990 leaves me with an informed skepticism of pop-culture feminism as a value toward return of the Goddess.

In the 80s to 2000s, It was still popular and possible to hype that female leadership had dominated a more peaceful and sane age according to the perspective of Marija Gimbutas.  Also, the white male was castigated as the source of all problems through a perspective that Native Americans were entirely peaceful and ecological.  Tribes in America long before the arrival of Europeans battled with each other to the point of genocide and the buffalo jump hunting methods killed and wasted more bison than were necessary for survival.  

This is not even a criticism of the Indians' inter-tribal warfare because the high value of the warrior and warrior culture is a defining characteristic.  In Europe, the peaceful nature of the Matriarchy (if it even existed) is now debatable.

This critique of the matriarchy aspect of popular anthropology includes my own participation in self promotion based upon my status as a 'feminist.'  In touch with my feminine self and advocating for women's programs made me cringe-worthy in a social context although I thought I was gaining points.  All women really wanted toxic males and held contempt for soft men who supported them.  Woke men today are in the same situation.  In the 1990s there were Gimbutas, Metzner, Robert Bly and a host of others who, if they allowed for men, only did so within the context of sponsorship by feminist agendas. Some Wiccan leaders even advocated the destruction of men.  In "The Spiral Dance" by Starhawk I was almost convinced that Communism is the answer.  When trying to impress attractive women, I can be such a doofus.  Weakness and capitulation has been corrected today by the adamant creativity of toxic males.    
 
Live and learn.  In addition to the pop-Goddess oriented elements we have the tiresome number of pages that were deemed necessary to disavow a great tragedy of a manipulated war.  Not the only tragedy of mankind - - as my Latvian history of Bolshevism will attest to.  Estimated 60 million in other areas of the Iron Curtain and we could all be thinking now about the Holodomor in Ukraine in its early conscription into the Soviet Union.  For some reason, these tragedies don't automatically call for 50 pages of disavowal now when there are so many elite ruler dracos leading in that direction.  Engineered propaganda war has far-reaching consequences.  If you have tried selling products within Germany now you know about LUCID and that a violation of packaging ecology could cost you 200,000 euros.   Germans have been instructed to hate themselves and Metzner does offer some healing ideas to deal with that problem. But the 50 pages of apologetics required of any Germanic lore publications are no longer necessary since we do not subscribe to Woke agenda.   

My criticism of the initial era of the Liberal domination of what is cosmically permissible or promoted is no longer entirely warranted.  In a journal, "Tyr : Myth Culture Tradition '' there appears an excellent background and interview with Ralph Metzner, and indeed, other luminaries of the Traditionalist prospect.  This appears in volume 4.  Somewhere and sometime I had the accomplished wealth to obtain the very best in books and journals. I complain about not being rich in spite of my aspirations.  Yet I've been very rich.  

Few reading these words will have a gestalt understanding or Grok my era.  Necessary for us to put the energetic consciousness of a couple of new generations into the frame of heightened creativity which we are now offered - or are now creating.  You folks have a fascinating intelligence with a strong spirit. That is your place for a 'Constellation' exercise which includes a writing journal exercise.  Most of you do this already.  Another exercise is to be playful in arranging representations like a dynamic 3D chess or theatrical model of  your theater.  The game pieces will take on a life of their own and speak to you as you speak to them.

TODAY'S ZEITGEIST  
Let's move to another dynamic and creative era that developed on its own, with even less demands by censorship and corporate demands.  I refer to Twitter in recent years as a posting up place for work already in progress as a burgeoning sea-change in what is known to be possible.  We are still looking at 'constellations' as the mutual respect and interest of people who recognized kindred spirits. A resonance in orbits around a few central figures culturized and dare I say monetized an alternative academia.  An academia of real life.

This very project you see here was started by one of the early pioneers.  I never dreamed I would be a mutual with the esteemed Chance Lunceford, but here we are. There are changes, starts, and stops in the Twitterverse determined by the tides of fortune.  Since we make our own fortune, some who have been admonished and removed from Twitter have found other places where their loyal contributors and appreciators gather around.  

Among the survivors and amazing comebacks on Twitter and their larger achievements we have the Tate brothers.  Their father Emory Andrew Tate Jr. (1958 – 2015) was an international chess master and a brilliant man of accomplishment.  Here we see a Family Constellation in the brilliance applied to achievement by father to sons.  Andrew Tate III is a four-time kickboxing champion.  Andrew and Tristan masterminded, secured, and mentored about the achievement of wealth against all odds.  Pure genius gumption.

Tate has said, "I am extremely proud of my last name, Tate." He points out that certain abilities and accomplishments were taken as a matter of expected course.  Andrew and Tristan Tate are each other's strongest supporters.  It might not be appropriate for me to say of these fierce winners that their relationship is 'heartwarming.' But this about the energy field that forms family constellations and not killer business and fighting ring scenarios.   

Quite often we would witness men gathering as also accomplished and rising stars in what could be called the unabashedly 'toxic' men with credentials in winning.  An apprentice and friend of the influential Victor Pride was there.  Dylan Madden was given the moniker "money bags" at a meeting with the Tates.  Done in the spirit of good fun and respect, the name sticks with the young giant today.  He lived up to his promise through following his passion for accomplishment and effective working credentials.  

I recognized that some men were rising stars and that is a claim I have to a nodding acquaintance with the winner twitter Constellation. Promotion of Twitter is not my purpose here ( the authorities can end your participation on a moment's notice).  The phenomenon that occurs in the constellations of winners could appear elsewhere.  There is a functional spirit at play which has arrived in our Zeitgeist.  Use it well and respect the times where we can choose the best rather than whine about the general decline of 'civilization' in general.    

CALL TO ACTION
This article begins with ideas about how to connect with your Family Constellation and use it for positive therapy.  More important than therapy is power. Granted, there is value in getting to the bottom of dysfunctional aspects of personality development.  That can be done - - and then get over it.  What follows are some exercises to interact with the 'knowing field' of your relationships at many levels.   

Game pieces :
An official FC therapy session can call for a social gathering with 'stand ins' to represent past relatives.  The stand in will not give any feedback or make any conversation.  They are only markers for you to perceive the field of influence of the assigned character.  It is difficult to find this many people to gather for your purpose so.....

The playful arrangements of game pieces or players as in a boardgame or childhood game can be used to represent these Constellation spaces. As a child, you may have played with these characters in a narrative of epic fantasy adventure and you probably sensed their dialougue as actually created by them.  What you are doing here is opening a space of communication for an ancestor to speak to you.  Since this is play, the veracity of actual communication is not the issue.  Your perceptions are.      

You may have already 'heard' these conversational communications or seen symbols or attitudes expressive of a concept conveyed.  For example, in my father's guidance to me today after he died in 2006, there is an emphasis on work combined with 'a family should stick together.'  Work has always been a proof for me of my place in family.  It is also an antidote for overthinking or worry.  My father always had the next creative work project as a guide for his energies even when relaxing at home.  There was a beautiful stone or brick project that would require attention the next day and everything was geared toward that.  Not unlike the modern tech entrepreneur who derives meaning from successful work.  

A fundamental difference between reflective therapy on a 'couch' and the dynamics of related constellation members each having their say in how reality is organized and made effective is in the mutual active process.     

It will feel like your ancestors are communicating to you and responding to your questions and expressions of respect.   Your attitude will be adjusted which will result in transformation of your state of being and, of course, actions in the world.  I remember Marie-Louis von Franz had a work entitled “Alchemically Active Imagination” and that is what you will experience as represented by Carl Jung.  This is not about sitting in revelry but taking action toward your purpose.
